A NEW 4 BEDROOM HOUSE FOR SALE IN KIGALI AT GACURIRO

A young married couple with a small child lives in this house. This house was supposed to become a "place of power", where the family planned to take a break from work in a noisy city. The customers immediately identified what should not be in the house: cornices, lush chandeliers, green, gold. At the same time, the family insisted on a cozy space. The task was to combine the geometric and concise form with the softness and warmth of the content. “When we discussed the details of the project, we came to the conclusion that a country house should become a “place of power” for the family, in which color preferences and lifestyle will be harmoniously combined. Work, vanity, the rhythm of the metropolis remain in the city, in nature - peace and tranquility. That is why the house has a lot of open free space, light and air. Such a decision encourages relaxation, both physical and visual,” say designers Svetlana Yurkova and Lena Nikitina. The authors of the  A NEW 4 BEDROOM HOUSE FOR SALE IN KIGALI AT GACURIRO project created the house from scratch: there was an undeveloped plot and the wishes of customers for a big house. The basis of the interior space is a functional two-height living room, which is combined with a dining room and a kitchen. The merger of these two zones is not accidental - the owners wanted their guests to be able to communicate in this way: cook food together at the counter, spend the evenings on the veranda, watch children play in front of the fireplace. Huge windows in the living room open - in summer this allows you to increase the area. “On the first floor, we placed a master bedroom with a bathroom and, most importantly, a spacious dressing room - it unloaded the rest of the space from unnecessary things. There is also an office of the owner of the house, which is combined with a wine room. Children's rooms are located on the second floor next to the common play area," the designers say. Paint was chosen for the walls. The accent walls at the headboards in the bedrooms were decorated with handmade Fresq wallpapers — they have a large selection of colors and ornamental solutions. The customers, as well as the designers, were satisfied: light prints of flowers and dandelions added lightness, weightlessness, and airiness to the space. “In this project, we used Arch-Skin, which is a large-format porcelain tile. Our favorite combination is glossy and matte surfaces, this is how the floor in the living room is done, the fireplace is finished. Also, a lot of natural wood is combined with stone textures - this gives the space a natural naturalness. Mutina and Vogue ceramic materials were used in the children's bathroom. Finishing with tiles from these manufacturers is always an excellent result,” the designers say. The color palette of the interior is muted shades that complement the natural materials used in the decoration. The combination of beige and gray interior was diluted with noble shades of brick and orange. Contrasting and juicy strokes on the color palette of the space are bright yellow in the children's bathroom and noble blue in the office decor. The quality of furniture was a priority for the owners, so the authors of the project opted mainly for Italian manufacturers. A chic Baxter deep armchair, which stands in the living room, has become a real highlight of the interior. Visual comfort, Atelierareti and Centrsvet are responsible for the lighting in the house.
