Suzuki Jimny

12/30/2019 at 11:00 Updated: 30.12.2019 at 12:25 Roman Melnichenko Roman Melnichenko The Suzuki Jimny SUV is the best option to end the year: the brightest, funniest, funny, fun car of the outgoing 2019! But does that mean the Suzuki Jimny is the best car of the year? And in general: what is Suzuki Jimny, what are the pros and cons of the car, did Suzuki Jimny manage to initiate me into his faith? Read and you will know everything. SUV! Yes, that's right, not a crossover. The Suzuki Jimny is a full-fledged SUV: with a frame structure, all-wheel drive, and a low range of gears. And that's how the Suzuki Jimny has always been - since its introduction in April 1970. If we take all the ideological predecessors of the Suzuki Jimny, then the story begins in 1970: since then, three generations of the model have been released. The car of the current fourth generation debuted in the summer of 2018 and started selling in Ukraine in the summer of 2019. The ar Suzuki Jimny ticle presents a Suzuki Jimny car with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine, 4-speed. Automatic transmission, in the maximum configuration GLX. For people "not in the know", the Suzuki Jimny car is another crossover and it should also drive: normal acceleration, braking, handling, depreciation. However, the first trip breaks all expectations into the trash. Starting at a traffic light and accelerating erase the usual understanding of the words “speed” and “dynamics”: the driver in the box-cabin of a small but proud “samurai” feels every new kilometer on the speedometer, he fights and worries along with the engine, merges into one with the steering wheel keeping the Suzuki Jimny on course - uh-gay, we're going! Look around: and around there are only small cars and small commercial vans - it is with them that the Suzuki Jimny competes in acceleration. The speedometer is sobering: instead of three-digit numbers, which the engine has already “shouted”, we see half the numbers. The steering wheel, flavored with an amplifier and a damper, makes four turns from lock to lock - this means that there is no usual light control accuracy at all: the car only approximately obeys commands, accompanying each turn with a huge roll. There is no zero position so much that you can swing the steering wheel 90 degrees left / right out of boredom in toffee traffic jams - and the Suzuki Jimny will still go in its lane. And if you get bored, you can just sit on your seat to rock the car to the beat of the music - soft suspension and thick wheels allow. Plus, add pecks when braking ... That's how you go: jump-jump, roll-roll, steer. But here's the nuance - you go and laugh! Having calmed down, you stop demanding dynamic accelerations from Suzuki Jimny, which are alien to him, and you find harmony: when accelerating at an average pace, the “automatic” switches surprisingly softly, and the engine up to 2.5-3 thousand rpm is amazingly quiet - you can hear the transmission more hum than the sound of the engine. Moreover, if acceleration is required “more vigorously” (as far as Suzuki Jimny can do), then it is worth pressing the accelerator harder - and the “automatic” instantly resets the gear down. True, all this ends with a ringing song of the engine at 4-5-6 thousand rpm, and the corresponding fuel consumption. Okay, let's continue about the good: all these rocking and pecking appeared for a reason, but because the Suzuki Jimny has a soft suspension. Moreover, the worse the road, the more you begin to respect the "adult" comfort of this "baby": broken roads, patches and pits, forest primers - all for nothing. The only thing Suzuki Jimny's suspension is afraid of is the rear wheels of a speed bump: then you can get a very noticeable kick in the ass (meaning the car). But one has only to tuck the steering wheel a little, choosing a trajectory obliquely - and comfort comes again. But what the Suzuki Jimny is afraid of as a whole is a fast ride on the highway: a series of bumps and a short base make you steer a lot, there is little power reserve and dynamics for overtaking. Comfortable speed on the highway ranges from 70-80 km/h (autumn, wet, cloudy) to 100 km/h (summer, light, dry). Everything above 100-120 km / h - only during overtaking and with a cry of "banzai", with which you are trying to shout over the engine. But believe me: each such overtaking will remain in your memory! The appearance of the new Suzuki Jimny has many references to past models and bright details: wheel arch linings, an air intake on t https://jiji.co.tz/cars/suzuki-jimny
